Smart India Hackathon 2020

The Smart India Hackathon 2020 is a nationwide initiative providing students with a platform to solve challenging problems faced in our daily lives, fostering a culture of innovation and problem-solving. Over 5 million students from various AICTE/UGC-registered colleges competed across 65+ locations.
In the internal campus hackathon held on 7th February 2020, 8 teams from the CSE department participated. Six teams were shortlisted for the fifth round:
  • Shadow Knights: Jai Prakash Veerla, Yabaluru Varun Sri Phani Datta, Vainala Shiva Kumar, Gummedelli Sowmya, Kanduri Ravali, Naga Manasa Palaparthi.
  • Anushthana: M. Kshemendra, K. Srikanth, D. Rakesh, T. Sai Sri Ram Reddy, M. Sunil Kumar, D. Ankitha Sri.
  • FarmEasy: Thallapally Sai Chandana, Bolisheti Bharathi, Penumarthy Vybhavi, Gundu Rajashekar, Bhuvanagiri Bala Nageswar Rao, K. Sai Vardhan Reddy.
  • Pegasus: Leela Sai Rahul Suryadevara, Ramarapu Aishwarya, Alekhya Belide, Deevaroy Karthik, Kelam Venkat Ravi Babu, Sreyas Reddy Mallypally.
  • Sankalp: A. Anitya, K. Sai Manasvini, Ch. Vidyadhari, R. Rakesh, K. Sumanth, C. Goutham.
  • Vaarth: P. Rithika, G. Ramya Reddy, M. Akshara, L. Vaishnitha, D. Srithaja, P. Srisai.
These teams advanced to the fifth round, where they registered and submitted their solutions on 20th February 2020.

CISCO Ideathon 2019

The CISCO Ideathon is a competitive platform for students to showcase original thinking and problem-solving skills using advanced technologies. Ninety students from the IV Year CSE department registered for the program, and three students were selected as interns:
  • K. Lakshmi Durga: Network Consulting Engineer, Rs 60,000/- per month.
  • R. Krishna Arun: Network Consulting Engineer, Rs 60,000/- per month.
  • S. Bala Aishwitha: Network Consulting Engineer, Rs 60,000/- per month.

Smart India Hackathon 2019

Two teams from our college were selected for the Smart India Hackathon 2019, a pan India 36-hour nonstop digital programming competition:
  • Bit Rebels99: Rajasekharuni Krishna Arun, Gunugurthi Naimisha, Tummala Kethan, Chandupatla Anirudh Reddy, Gurrala Shravani, Pandilla Sai Kiran Reddy.
  • Radeon: P.V. Mahati, Jeswin T. Joseph, Akshesha Oraon, Indraneel Sarma MVTSS, A Anitya, Sreyas Reddy Mallypally.

Smart India Hackathon 2018

Two teams were selected for the Smart India Hackathon 2018:
  • Fudio: T. Venkat Aditya, V. Surya Kiran Reddy, P. Siri, G. L. Manasa, A. Haritha, S. Sai Prasanna.
  • Shat Brahmos: N Mounika, N Sai Sandeep, S Dilip, N Rajavarun, S Sai Srikar Reddy, D Santosh.

Student Achievement Highlights

  • Smart India Hackathon 2017: Our III CSE students’ project idea on “Coastal Change Analysis” was selected for real-time implementation.
  • CISCO Ideathon 2019: Three students were selected as interns for the role of Network Consulting Engineer at CISCO, Bangalore.
  • Google Cloud Community Days India 2021: Participation and achievement by S. Sai Krupa Reddy and A. Divyamsh Reddy.
These achievements reflect the excellence and innovative spirit of the CSE department at ACE Engineering College.
